This piece is painted from Camel Rock Beach, looking out toward Camel Rock and the ocean beyond, caught at golden hour with the sky sun-kissed and warm. A sprinkling of beach plants sits in the foreground.
Camel Rock is one of Bermagui's most iconic landmarks, an ancient formation of folded turbidite beds dating back around 470 million years, named for its uncanny resemblance to a resting camel. The surrounding beach is a popular surf spot, well loved by locals and visitors alike.
Original oil on canvas, 76.2H x 50.8W cm (30" x 20"), painted 2026. Unframed, with framing available on request.
