This piece looks out over Wylie's Baths in Coogee, just a few minutes' walk from Coogee Beach, with bushy native plants in the foreground leading down to the pool, the rocks and ocean beyond. To the side sits the elevated blue and yellow veranda, home to the cafe, and where all the locals read and lounge, instantly recognisable to anyone who knows Wylie's.
This view was my morning ritual while I was recovering from a chronic illness. I'd come here to swim laps and let the water calm my nervous system, in what became a genuine turning point for me.

Please note that when shipping an original piece overseas, the canvas will be carefully removed from its frame, rolled, and sent in a secure tube for safe transport.
