This piece looks out over Mahon Pool, Maroubra's local rock pool, framed by two native plants in the foreground. Beyond them, the rocks lead down to the pool itself, empty and still, with the ocean and headland stretching out behind under a clear blue sky.
Saturdays are for this. A lot of people who live nearby have their own version of this spot, the place they duck to for a quick swim on a Saturday before the afternoon's commitments start, or the first proper cool-off after a big week.
Original oil on canvas, 76.2H x 50.8W cm (20" x 30"), painted 2025. Unframed, with framing available on request.

How long will it take to arrive?
Orders within Australia usually arrive within 10 days. If you’ve requested your original artwork to be framed, please allow an additional 2 weeks for framing.
For international orders, delivery typically takes 2–3 weeks.
Please note that when shipping an original piece overseas, the canvas will be carefully removed from its frame, rolled, and sent in a secure tube for safe transport.
